Meta and CleanMax will develop 837 MW of new solar and wind capacity across Rajasthan and Karnataka to support corporate clean energy demand and emissions reduction goals.

Meta Platforms and CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions have formalised a renewable energy partnership that will support the development of 837 MW of solar and wind projects across Rajasthan and Karnataka.

Under the agreement, CleanMax will develop and operate the assets, while Meta will acquire 100% of the environmental attributes generated by the projects. The initiative is expected to support Meta’s clean energy objectives and reduce value-chain emissions.

Combined with previously announced developments, the partnership now exceeds 900 MW of renewable energy capacity. The move reflects growing corporate demand for reliable clean power as data centre expansion and decarbonisation commitments continue to accelerate.
