ACME Solar has signed a 25-year PPA with SECI for a 300 MW/1,200 MWh ISTS-connected assured peak power project, expanding its growing portfolio of firm and dispatchable renewable energy projects in India.

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd, through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Sixth, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW/1,200 MWh ISTS-connected assured peak power project.

The firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project will be connected to ISTS substations and will utilise ACME Solar’s existing night-time connectivity available in high-irradiation zones.

Under the agreement, ACME Solar will supply four hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours while maintaining a minimum annual availability requirement of 85%.

The company had secured the project under SECI’s FDRE Tranche-VII tender following the Letter of Award (LoA) issued on February 10, 2026. The tender was floated under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines, with the e-reverse auction conducted on February 2, 2026.

With this latest agreement, ACME Solar’s total contracted portfolio has expanded to 8,070 MW across solar, wind, storage, FDRE and hybrid projects. This includes 6,570 MW of PPA-signed capacity, comprising 2,990 MW of operational assets and 3,580 MW currently under construction.
