HVR Solar is expanding its manufacturing footprint with a new 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell facility in Uttar Pradesh, alongside a module manufacturing plant scheduled to begin operations in Haryana.
Delhi-based solar manufacturer HVR Solar has announced plans to establish a 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility in Amroha district, Uttar Pradesh.
The company has signed memorandums of understanding with global technology and equipment providers, including Shenzhen Han’s Photovoltaic Equipment Co., Ltd., Gentech Technology (Huzhou) Co. Ltd., and IndyGreen Technologies, to support the project.
HVR Solar expects the facility to create more than 500 local jobs while supporting the next phase of its manufacturing expansion strategy.
The announcement follows the company’s plans to commission a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana, in June 2026. The plant will manufacture both TOPCon and heterojunction (HJT) solar modules.
