Amal Nayak

Amal Nayak is President – Operations at Contendre Solar, with over 29 years of industry experience, including more than 17 years in the solar energy sector. He oversees manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, and process automation, ensuring alignment with global benchmarks in solar module production. Previously, he held senior roles at Vikram Solar, Sova Solar Ltd., and Exide Industries Limited. An Electrical Engineer by training, he holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from the University of Calcutta. He is recognised for his methodical approach, people-centric leadership, and deep expertise across the solar PV value chain.
