Summary

Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited has launched the Distributed Renewable Energy Project Monitoring Tool to centralise monitoring across the state’s renewable energy ecosystem. The platform integrates project tracking, generation monitoring, subsidy workflows, rooftop solar and key government schemes.

Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL), the nodal agency for renewable energy development in the state, has launched the Distributed Renewable Energy Project Monitoring Tool (DRE-PMT) to strengthen technology-driven monitoring of renewable energy projects across Rajasthan.

The platform provides centralised dashboards and data analytics to support monitoring of the state’s renewable energy ecosystem. It brings multiple project and programme monitoring functions onto a single digital platform, enabling stakeholders to track project progress and performance more efficiently.

The DRE-PMT platform integrates renewable energy project monitoring, real-time generation monitoring, subsidy and direct benefit transfer workflows, and tracking of projects implemented under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) and Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.

The platform also includes rooftop solar project monitoring, discom-level project and generation tracking, vendor management and empanelment, providing a broader digital framework for managing distributed renewable energy programmes.

The move comes as Rajasthan continues to expand its renewable energy capacity and decentralised solar deployment. Digital monitoring systems can help improve visibility across projects, strengthen programme implementation and support data-driven decision-making by project and distribution utility stakeholders.

In May 2026, RRECL, the Government of Rajasthan and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on renewable energy deployment, energy transition strategies and sustainable development initiatives.

The partnership covers areas including renewable energy, agri-photovoltaics, energy storage, grid integration, electric mobility, emerging technologies and capacity building. The launch of DRE-PMT adds a technology-driven monitoring layer to Rajasthan’s renewable energy ecosystem as the state expands solar generation, distributed energy resources and associated energy transition infrastructure.
